I am a proud Board member of @camerasforgirls , a Canadian charity providing skills-based training to young women, to support their goals of getting paid work in male-dominated media.
Today is 𝗚𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗔𝗬, and every dollar you give is 𝗗𝗢𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗘𝗗 thanks to our $𝟳,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗥 🎉
Neema, and 14 young women in Tanzania have waited a full year to begin their training with Cameras For Girls. Your gift today is what decides whether they start in January.

Students go into the field with Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) Tanzania to document their climate action work, interviewing participants, capturing real stories, and building their first professional portfolio piece because of you.
✅ 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱.
TAHMEF, a mental health organization based in Tanzania teaches a session on advocating against sexual harassment in media.
✅ 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀.
@Tanzania Flying Labs introduces our students to drone storytelling, giving young women tools that expand their opportunities.
We have raised $3,055 dollars so far. We are halfway to our goal!
